TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Artisoft Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time,
permanent technical writer at our headquarters in Tucson,
Arizona. Artisoft is the maker of LANtastic, the leading
network software for small businesses. We also develop other
types of software for small businesses. It's an exciting place
to work because:
- you write "from scratch" by observing the program on
your second computer, a PC (the other computer being
your Mac, running FrameMaker 5.0)
- you have free access at all times to the engineers and they're
very friendly
- the products move out the door so quickly you never get
bored with a project
We need someone right away, so there may not be time for
someone located in another part of the country or world to
get a foot in the door. We found out someone was leaving on
Friday, and today we're already interviewing a candidate.
However, feel free to fax me your resume!
Artisoft likes referrals from its employees so please
address your resume to me:
