ENTRY LEVEL TECHNICAL WRITER
PSINet has an immediate opening for a Technical Writer at its =
wholly-owned subsidiary, InterCon Systems Corporation in Herndon, VA. =20
Applicants should have an internship, co-op, or work experience in =
related field or certificate/degree in related field. Preference given =
to candidates whose studies were concentrated in technical writing =
and editing. Knowledge of FrameMaker or similar desktop publishing =
software, as well as the Mac or Windows environment is required =
and familiarity with the Internet or TCP/IP networking is a plus. =
Ideal candidate will demonstrate courtesy, professionalism =
and level-headedness in a fast-paced, often stressful =
environment. Organizational abilities, enthusiasm and ability to =
learn technical information are key.=20
Responsibilities include: Writing user documentation and other =
pieces including online help and online documentation. Individual will =
also self-edit, verify documentation written by self and others; and =
review bluelines as necessary. This position offers opportunity =
