NEW ELECTRONIC DISCUSSION LIST

You are invited to join CPTSC-L, the electronic discussion
list of the Council for Programs in Technical and Scientific
Communication (CPTSC). The CPTSC, founded in 1973-74, is
comprised of individuals interested in programmatic and
pedagogical issues related to scientific and technical
communication instruction. According to its constitution, the
primary purposes of CPTSC are to
* promote programs in technical and scientific
communication;
* promote research in technical and scientific
communication;
* develop opportunities for the exchange of ideas
and information concerning programs, research,
and career opportunities;
* assist in the development and evaluation of new
programs in technical and scientific
communication, if requested; and
* promote exchange of information between this
organization and interested parties;
This electronic discussion list is meant to continue and
extend the conversations occurring at the annual conference
and among members generally. It will also serve as a site for
related announcements, calls for papers, and other
information.
