Hello,
I am managing editor of the Society for Technical Communications national
newsletter for online documentation specialists, HyperViews. I am trying to
expand our coverage of online documentation tools beyond Windows Help and
multimedia and would VERY much like to find someone to prepare an article
(1,000-1500 words) on using Acrobat, Envoy and other such tools to prepare
and distribute technical documentation to customers. This could be a review
that discusses why you choose one product over other choices; a case study of
how you used the tool and the benefits you received; or even a brief overview
for the uninitiated on how the tool works. We will accept reprints of
articles from any STC publication or from any other publication that grants
written permission for us to reprint. I would really like to have something
by mid-December, but realizing the notice is short, I would settle for
January or February for our Spring issue.
Please respond directly to me at knowware -at- msn -dot- com if you are interested in
writing something.
