In due course the courts will hold silence about bad qualities to be as
wrong as falsely saying they don't exist.
When that happens reference givers will have to take great care to tell "the
truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth".
Until that happens references will consist of a bare repetition of
uncontrovertible facts. "This is to confirm that X worked for us from 1 Jan
