Job Description:
Lead the production of user documentation, from planning through
production; tasks include documentation project planning, document design,
writing, coordinating reviews, revisions, copyediting, and managing
production and delivery of final copy. Types of documents include
technical briefs, newsletters, user manuals, and on-line documentation.
Provide leadership to team members for project-related documentation.
The candidate must be familiar with software engineering/development
environments, have an understanding of the dynamics of such environments,
and the ability to handle the impact of those dynamics on the documentation
development process (i.e the ability to gather information from software
engineers/technical experts; flexibility in dealing with the occasional
unpredictability of software development projects).

- Work with corporate teams in the design,layout, implementation of CGI's
internal World Wide Web pages for supporting corporate policies, corporate
procedures, corporate communications to replace currrent on-line bulletin
boards and paper-based documentation.
- Work with engineering groups in the design, layout, implementation of
World Wide Web pages for supporting project teams for internal and external
communications and software engineering development.
- Work with internal groups in the design, layout, and implementation of
World Wide Web pages for supporting company-wide software engineering
libraries.
