We are currently looking for an experienced technical writer to join
our documentation group. This writer will be responsible for designing
and producing high-quality technical documentation associated with the
application development and system administration of our distributed
system software products. The target audience will range from system
administrators to software developers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, technical, and
interpersonal skills, as well as a degree in writing (or related
degree) and 3+ years of technical writing experience. The candidate
should also have a knowledge of UNIX, desktop publishing, and a
thorough understanding of the documentation process. Familiarity with
a programming language is highly desired, and experience with
distributed systems and/or transaction processing is a plus.
