On the special foreign character, I agree with Susan that you can make
these in Paintbrush. Everytime you need it you can call the same bitmap
file (unless you're using Doc-To-Help). However, if the breaking word
issue is a problem, try creating the whole word in Paintbrush and placing
it as a bitmap.
