TesserAct offers an unusual opportunity: Develop new documentation and
instructional material about leading-edge software, yet work at an
established, stable San Francisco company. We provide opportunities for
professional growth, including internal training and tuition
reimbursement.
Responsibilities:
(1) Team Leader--Lead a five-person writing team, and provide project
planning and estimating.
(2) Intermediate/Senior Technical Writers--Plan and create new
documentation--both print and online--for a client/server,
object-oriented Human Resources system. Help create a new look for
TesserAct's documentation. Develop enhancements and additions to
existing documentation--both print and online--for legacy and
forthcoming HR applications.
(3) Courseware Writers--Help update an existing library of courseware
for Windows-based and mainframe versions of HR applications. Plan and
create new courseware for a client/server, object-oriented HR system.
Desired experience:
Familiarity with HR products, especially Payroll and Benefits.
Experience developing online help with RoboHELP or other online help
development tool. Understanding of client/server, object-oriented
technology. Proficiency in Windows, FrameMaker, and Word.
Courseware Writer--Also: Experience creating instructor-led
training materials in a software environment. Mac expertise.
