Mark Merkow, CCP asks how we as tech writers use the internet -
I tend to use it a lot for research. I am currently developing a course for a
computer company and they have absolutely nothing written up on a new
architecture that they are using. So I am doing research on the web to see
how other companies are using this architecture and one module of this
course will cover the 4 top competitors and their products.
I also use the HTML references to help me when I am building web pages
to make sure my coding is ok and to find backgrounds, clip art, etc.
I also use the web (my favorite part) as a sanity break during my work
to surf around. The new Alta Vista search engine is phenomenal and there
is so much out there...
This is a little like, what I did for my summer vacation!

When they took away the Fourth Amendment,
I was quiet because I didn't deal drugs.
When they took away the Sixth Amendment,
I was quiet because I was innocent.
When they took away the Second Amendment,
I was quiet because I didn't own a gun.
Now they've taken away the First Amendment,
and I can't say anything about it.
