Subject:Recommendations for an EDMS From:Robert Otoka <rotoka -at- LEWTAN -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 25 Apr 1996 11:00:59 GMT
Looking for a cost-effective (under $1000 for Workgroups version) EDMS
(Electronic Documentation Management System). Any suggestions or tips?
So far I've looked at SourceSafe and PageKeeper (awaiting copy of DocuPACT).
Also, starting to evalaute whether our help desk software (PVCS Tracker)
contains the ability to:
* search for documents by user-defined keywords or strings
* will recognize file associates for non-standard extensions defined in File
Manager
* delineate between versions
* print master lists
* integratable with OmniPage for scanning and Microsoft e-mail
Any help is appreciated?
