Subject:Mouse-button names for southpaws From:Doug Montalbano <doug_montalbano -at- CC -dot- CHIRON -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 1 May 1996 09:46:27 PST
The recent thread by Victor Chapel and David (not an idiot)
Ibbetson discuss possible alternative nomenclature for
the currently labeled left, right, and middle mouse buttons.
Chapel asks:
"Have any techwrlers solved this another way?"
Well, if you really DON'T want to use L-M-R, how about
one of the following:
* numbers (1, 2, 3)
* terms from anatomy: proximal, medial, distal
(with 'proximal' being the one closest to your head...)
Trivially yours,
Doug
