It sounds like you're trying to describe opening a documnet file by
double-clicking on it. If this is true, then these files are
associated with Frame instead of Word. It's not at all a RoboHelp or a
Frame problem (unless Frame changed associations of .DOC files on
install).
When I installed Frame on my Win95 system it DOES change the
associations... oh, the joys of using regedit to get my system back to
'normal'.
