A sense of humor is a fine gift. It can open doors and smooth over rough
spots. A sense of humor without sensitivity is an irritation that closes
doors, minds, and conversations. Use gentle humor in your written material
and you will improve the effectiveness. Use it without sensitivity for the
receiver and you will be writing for an audience of one.
