Job Description
Symantec Corporation is looking for a technical writer to manage a small
writing group in Beaverton, Oregon. The writing group is responsible for
documenting Windows-based consumer software using Windows 95 help and
printed manuals. Duties of the position include scheduling resources,
writing documentation plans, editing, and mentoring junior writers, as
well as owning the documentation for one project. Experience with Frame
and HTML a plus.
Educational Requirements
B.A. English, Technical Writing, or equivalent experience.
Technical Requirements
Strong computer background including knowledge of the Windows 95
registry, hardware, and peripherals. Experience with Windows 95 and
Windows 95 help systems is required.
