Subject:Select vs. Pick From:Angela <amoore -at- SOFTDESK -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 14 May 1996 12:16:40 -0700
Just a quick question:
I'm having my user *pick* a coordinate point on the screen in a drafting =
environment. The illustration shows this point marked by P1. Would I =
tell my users to "Pick P1" or "Select P1" or even "Choose P1". Some of =
us feel that "Select" only applies to entities that can be added to a =
selection set. Others feel that the word "Pick" sounds too much like a =
bad personal habit. Any good ideas?=20
Thanks,
