As a freelance writer and consultant in how to write user friendly
manuals, my clients comes from the following major areas: EDP
(hardware/software), electronics (professional and consumer),
household appliances, and machinery (which can include many things,
e.g. office equipment, pumps, machine centres, cranes, cars, and
aeroplanes). Another area I have only touched briefly is chemicals
and medicals.
