Shrug. It's also taken this long for Hypertext to take off in the form of
the Web. It's probably symbiotic - if there is no dream for reusable text,
then it never becomes a reality. If there is no corporate buy-in, then
it stays a dream. What Ted did in a lab - or even in larger form - doesn't
rise to consciousness until it's commercialized. This is not necessarily
a good thing.
All this discussion of reality and dreams reminds me of Calderon de la Barca.
