If it's any consolation, I don't think any drawing package does diddly
saving as bitmaps, but then they're not expected to, are they? Drawing
packages specialize in drawings, not bitmap graphics. Their forte' is
described graphics, not mapped ones. It's always harsh trying to go from
vector to bitmap. The best solution is to stick with paint packages for
bitmaps and leave Corel and its competitors to the vector arena in which
they perform so well. I like Corel there. I've used it extensively for
mechanical representations. But for bitmaps it's a great video game.
