We have both Macs and Windows devices and the Word documents on both platforms
were equally infected. The Concept macro virus is just as benign on each
platform. It doesn't do anything to the hardware, it doesn't do anythying to
other types of files such as .com or .exe files. It simply makes it impossible
to do a "Save As".
It doesn't "destroy" anything.

The Word Macro virus (Concept-B) can exist and procreate on macintosh
machines. However, there have been no documented reports of it doing and
damage. It's designed to attack PCs, and is benign on macs. But if you
have it and use your files on a PC, you will infect the PC. The latest
version of Virex for the macintosh is capable of removing the virus.
Without Virex, you have to bring the file over to a PC and run
Microsoft's SCANPROT.DOT macro on it.
