Subject:Re: submenu, sub-menu, or sub menu? From:Jacob Matthan <findians -at- NETPPL -dot- FI> Date:Thu, 23 May 1996 22:42:11 +0300
Hi,
On the Mac Platform we have for maybe 10 years had the hierarchical menu
and there is an excellent control panel BeHierarchic which can make
everything hierarchical. Much better term than submenu, sub-menu, sub
menu or even cascade as it really expresses the feeling of what is really
happening. So we can drag a pull down menu away from the top menu bar and
have a hierarchical structure anywhere on the desktop - so it is not
really a menu item any longer.
Just a thought!!
