Subject:suggestion on third-party help tool sought From:Elaine Farstad <efarstad -at- MAIL -dot- CSRA -dot- NET> Date:Sat, 25 May 1996 10:16:27 -0500
Hello -
I'm currently working on a very large Windows 3.1 help customizing project
and am frustrated with the third-party tool I chose - Robohelp. The project
involves writing some new help topics, and revising/reworking hundreds of
existing .hpj's and literally thousands of existing .rtfs.
I've found Robohelp to be a great tool to start new projects in, but it
becomes cumbersome when you try to bring existing projects into its
environment - it insists on using newly created hpj's rather than using the
existing, and I'm having trouble using multiple source files for a single
project hpj.
So, I'm shopping for a new tool. Any suggestions on tools that are good for
reworking existing help files (hpj, rtf, graphics) would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Elaine Farstad
