Subject:The Microsoft logo From:Kirstin Mercer <kirstin -at- INTERCON -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 5 Jun 1996 09:10:33 -0400
FYI: I wanted to use this is our documentation and I was told by
Microsoft's
legal department that it's copyright infringement and that I can't.
I argued,
unsuccessfully, that since it's in a font that I should be able to use it
freely. :-(

>I believe the Microsoft font (containing the logo) is very closely guarded.
>In the past I have had great trouble trying to extract a copy from
>Microsoft.
>How did you obtain it (or where did you see it) ?
It's in the WINGDINGS font.
