Subject:Distributing a ReadMe File in PDF From:"Trainor,Kathleen" <trainoka -at- AMS -dot- IIX -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 13 Jun 1996 12:37:00 -0600
I'm a relatively new Adobe Acrobat user. I am considering distributing a
"readme" file in PDF format. I would like to have the file show up as an
icon in a default (predetermined) program group in Windows when the user
loads our software.
(For example, when I loaded Acrobat, the readme files for Acrobat Exchange
and Acrobat Distiller automatically showed up as icons in the Adobe Acrobat
program group.)
Is this do-able? If yes, please explain in as non-technical a manner as
possible. :)
Also, do you know if the readme icon that Adobe uses is available for our
use?
Thanks.
Kathy
