Subject:Customizing Spellcheckers From:"Daniel E. Wise" <dewise -at- IX -dot- NETCOM -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 19 Jun 1996 19:50:39 -0700
Colleagues,
Kenneth Nuckols asked about upgrading or updating spellcheckers. The
last time I looked, my spellchecker contained something like 25,000
words and had space for me to *add* something like 45,000 custom
entries--technical terms, company names, jargon, jabberwocky, whatever
I want--to the database. Kenneth, check your spellchecker for this
feature. If you can, indeed, customize your spellchecker, exercise
your nimble fingers to enter the terms, etc., you need.
Am I wrong about most, if not all, spellcheckers being customizable?
