Glad to see that there are other techwriters who don't do computer
stuff exclusively. I report on current research in marine and coastal
areas for the general public, legislators, business people to
understand and use. I also write manuals, magazine articles,
newsletters and columns on all things related to coastal science and
economic development. My employer is the Sea Grant Program. I have
learned a lot from the technical emphasis of this group, but would
