Qualifications include:
- Self-motivation and initiative
- The ability to work within a team as well as individually
- Well-developed communication skills
- Creativity and a good aesthetic sense
- Good sense of and commitment to usability
- Attention to detail and the elements of quality publications
- Developmental editing experience
- Familiarity with the print production and publishing process
- Working knowledge of SQL or similar relational database, client-server technologies
- Proficiency in FrameMaker and Word
- Proficiency with a graphics application such as PaintShop Pro
Responsibilities to include:
- Producing a user's guide and auxiliary materials
- Developing company print publications standards, style manual and templates
- Providing company-wide writing and editing assistance
- Managing and tracking the publications-development process
