We have the following position opening:

Senior Writer for Win95 Toolset Development Team in Palo Alto, CA

This position is for a Senior Technical Writer whose initial focus will be
on documenting class libraries similar in nature, but not as complex as C++
class libraries.

The candidate will join a well staffed documentation group, documenting a
Win95 state-of-the-art database application toolset.

The publication group has responsibility for product specifications,
developer documentation, on-line help and on-line examples. This position
combines elements of technical writing for a developer audience, product
specification and product design (working with senior designers and
architects). The position is highly interactive, writers are fully
integrated into the development team. The right candidate must have prior
experience working with developers or a keen interest in technology
development and problem solving.


QUALIFICATIONS:
        *) 5 years technical writing experience
        *) Ability to meet tight deadlines
        *) Documentation experience for medium to large size company
        *) Knowledge of C++ and Smalltalk and 4GL are a plus.
        *) Framemaker or equivalent
        *) Excellent communication skills
        *) BA/BS
