TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Our group is in the beginning stages of making the transition from print documentation to online documentation. Can any of you point me in the direction of companies who have successfully implemented a vast array of software documentation (user guides, training materials, help screens) that have satisfied the diversified needs of users? I'd be most interested in accessing web sites that will provide some insight into how others have made this transition, as well as any suggestions for streamlining the process. Thanks in advance.
Jennifer
