>You can get certified through STC (Society of Technical Communicators).
>I am sure many list readers are members.
Ummm...'fraid not, guys.
There is an STC committee looking into certification issues, but there is
-no- certification program currently available through the society.
STC is a great organization, but all that's required for membership is a
filled-in application form and a check. That ain't certification for
anything, by anybody's standards.
