ISO 14000 is a series of standards for an environmental
management system. It includes regulatory and other mandatory
environmental requirements. It is modeled after BS7750.
Drafts of the standards are available for public comment
from ISO. Publication is expected in a year. After
publication, registration will be like ISO 9000.
ISO 14000 does not replace ISO 9000.
