Have you ever wondered about the STC group picture that wishes us
all a Happy Holidays each December? I recently wrote to the STC
about it...wanting to know specifically who was taking the picture
(since the entire office is supposed to be in the photograph!).
The camera they use is on a timer. If you look closely, you will notice
one person standing in the background who is not quite as well
"positioned" as the others. This is the person who has set the timer.
Last year's picture was taken against a wall with a light switch.
Personally, I found the light switch distracted from the picture and
pointed this out to them. I am hopeful this year's picture will not
have it.
One fun thing to do is cut out the picture and hang it up, then take the
faces of those you work with and tape them over the bodies of the
STC'ers. This can give the illusion of a similar Holiday picture for
your own documentation department without the hassle of taking the picture.
