We've got some, immediate openings for technical writer/trainers with one
of our clients here in St. Louis, MO. These positions are new, long-term
contract positions where you would work for Envision, at our client site.
A little about the positions:
They are writer/trainer positions that would involve developing user
reference, support and training materials for a large system rollout. As a
writer/trainer, your responsibilities would include:
* develop user performance support and communications materials (both
printed and online)
* develop presentations
* develop online help, reference documents
* develop quick reference materials
* developing and delivering training in a structured classroom format, as
well as personalized training sessions
We're looking for self starters, who are well organized and have, of
course, outstanding technical communications skills. As far as experience
is concerned, we'd like to see experience in:
* authoring and publishing user support and training materials
* systems and system development process
* project administration, planning, organizing, and monitoring a group of
tasks are a must
* electronic performance support systems, online reference, CBT, etc.
Some of the specific technical skills we're looking for include:
* experience with RoboHelp
* PC and network environment (user)
* Windows and GUI standards experience
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Lotus Notes (user)
* Information Mapping or other documentation methodology
