Jean: On the Mac side, you can't beat Adobe's suite of products. Look
on their site at http://www.adobe.com and look for PageMill, a highly
rated (if expensive) web site creator software.
Actually, SiteMill is the site software. ;{>}
Depending upon how technically oriented you are, you can do some amazing site
management things with a text editor like Alpha or BBEdit and Frontier.
