Subject:helpful hints in a help system From:kellyk -at- CYBEROPTICS -dot- COM Date:Wed, 28 Aug 1996 12:46:33 -0500
I am revising a procedures-only help system (Robo for 95). A sales
dude with tons of user contact and information is working with me to
develop helpful hints.
I am unsure at a design level how to handle the hints. A pop up? A
Hints button that jumps to a secondary window?
I do not want the hints to follow the procedures. Too much potential
for scrolling.
Creative, user friendly suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you.
