When you find a problem, you report it as a bug. If you don't know
how to file a legitimate, honest-to-Betsy bug report, ask someone
in Testing/QA to help you. Programmers who ignore suggestions
presented in casual conversation -- or for that matter, just
forget -- suddenly take notice when the problem is officially
listed as a bug.
And usually the product manager is involved in prioritizing
and managing the bug list. A misspelling is one of those bugs
that get done first because it's easy to clear off the list.
Try it. It's remarkably effective despite its simplicity.
