Ron Rhodes asked how to get practice on editing. The absolutely best
way to learn something is to teach it. I recommend offering your services
as a tutor or teacher at the high school or college level, specifically in the
areas of grammar, spelling, etc. - all that stuff that kids find so boring and
need to learn. It's a win/win situation - not only will you improve your
skills, but you'll be doing it in a way that also helps others. Sure, it takes
time, but it's a helluva lot more fun than working through a paper test.
