One more thought on subject of use of inappropriate words:
When CB radios became available for public use at affordable prices, we
thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread. We rushed out and
got one for each car. However, we quickly discovered that a lot of
adolescents mascarading as legal adults had found the perfect way to "talk
dirty" in public and get away with it. We did not use the radios very
long, as it was impossible to get an open channel without being interrupted
by someone with a foul mouth.
This listserver has some interesting threads going, with some information
that is new and/or needful. I would hate for it to go the way of the CB radio.
