Subject:Hardware Survey: Related Question From:David Jones <dvjones -at- KSBE -dot- EDU> Date:Wed, 9 Oct 1996 13:51:16 +0000
My ongoing hardware survey (thank you to the 58 people who have
responded so far) has brought a number of responses from people
saying to "make sure to include a CD drive."
I tried a budget request for one last year, and was unable to come up with
good enough reasons for getting it. So:
What benefits could I expect from having a CD drive? I have one at
home, mostly used for audio CDs, games, and an occasional program
installation.
Thank you to everyone so far. My supervisor has already said that we
can expect the current system to be replaced, so the responses will
help me request an appropriate replacement ...
