Reminder...
Although some entry deadlines have past, it is not to late to enter many
of the Society for Technical Communications' (STC's) 29 regional Online
Information Competitions across the US, Canada, and Europe.
STC's competitions recognize achievements and innovations in online
information in these categories:
Help
Demonstrations/Kiosks/ Presentations
Training/Tutorials
Reference Guides
In most cases, the competitions accept entries in several platforms
including Windows (3.1/95/NT), Macintosh, World Wide Web pages, as well
as other platforms as arranged by the entrant such as UNIX and others.
Winners of Distinguished Technical Communications and Excellence awards
progress to the International Online Information Competition (IOCC) in
Tampa, Florida in February of 1997. IOCC winners will be exhibited at
STC's annual conference in Toronto, Canada in May of 1997.
