Subject:Word 6 thesaurus From:Laura Butler <LB -at- POINTDUBLIN -dot- CCMAIL -dot- COMPUSERVE -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 3 Dec 1996 11:42:36 EST
I hope you don't consider a question about the thesaurus tool in Word
6 to be off-topic.
When I select a word and activate the thesaurus, the dialog appears as
usual, but it presents neither meanings nor synonyms. It's as if the
database of words the tool refers to is missing.
I have tried removing and reinstalling the thesaurus using the Setup
program, but the problem remains. This is happening on a machiine I
didn't configure, so I don't know if it ever worked.
If anyone has encountered and solved this problem, please reply direct
to me.
Thank you
laura butler
