Subject:Change Bars in Framemaker From:John Ahlstrom <jahlstro -at- CISCO -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 4 Dec 1996 14:28:43 -0800
Folks
All the talk about frame and word prompts me
to try once more to discover a usable mechanism
for getting change bars OUT OF frame documents.
(It seems ok to get them in.)
I love frame, have recommended it to many
indoctrinate newbies in our company in its
effective use, BUT...
I have never been able to get change bars in and out
of frame documents as easily, clearly, cleanly, usefully
as I can in word.
What I want is to be able to show deleted and inserted
text distinct from each other and from unchanged text,
to have change bars showing where the deletions and
insertions are, and, then, to remove the change bars,
remove the deleted text and change the inserted text to
what it would be without the visual insertion
indications.
I have talked to frame customer support, ...
no usable help.
Can any of you help me?
Thanks in advance
JKA
A conclusion is simply the place where you got
tired of thinking.
