I used the HP at my last job and I liked it. It did a good job with both
images and text.
However, at my new job I just purchased the UMAX, primarily because it
consistently got the best reviews. We have only had it a week, so we
have just started using it, but I like it. PhotoShop is the graphic
scanning software it uses, and you do the scan from within PS. More
control over some of the problems with light an dark.

PhotoShop package.
