Dear all,
I am having two problems. Maybe someone has experienced and/or solved
them:
1. Is there a limit to the number and/or size of entries to a
template's AutoText? Every time that I add one or change an existing
one, the template becomes corrupted. If I attempt to make a new
document based on that new template, Word will hang.
2. This one is more baffling: Is there a way to configure Headings
1,2, and 3 to have automatic numbering; and turn it off for 4-9? Every
time that I make Heading 1 have autonumbering, it affects all of the
Headings. However, If I go to Heading 4, and turn autonumbering off,
it turns it off for all of my Headings (yes, Heading 4 is based on
Heading 3, but not vice a versa). I've tried Remove Numbering for that
level, and modifying the numbering to "none".
Thanks in advance,
Michael B. Caplan
