THE TECHNICAL COMMUNICATIONS GROUP
The Datastream Technical Communications Group is housed in the
Development Department and currently consists of 8 technical
communicators. The cumulative and variant expertise within the group
has contributed to the professional achievement of five awards in the
1996 STC Carolina Foothills & South Carolina chapters Publication
Competition, including the award of "Best of Show," and an award in
the STC International Technical Publications Competition as well.
THE POSITION REQUIREMENTS
ú Degree or advanced degree in technical writing, or similar field
ú Interest in writing software and training documentation
ú Experience with Windows 95 a plus
ú Proficiency in either Microsoft Word for Windows 7.0 or FrameMaker 5
a plus
ú Experience with on-line help software, such as RoboHelp, a plus
