Subject:Thanks to TECHWR-L From:Melissa Lowery <MLOWERY -at- GWM -dot- SC -dot- EDU> Date:Wed, 8 Jan 1997 09:48:32 -0500
I would like to thank all of those who subscribe to TECHWR-L and add
their pearls of wisdom to the discussions. I just accepted a new position
with a company that I am elated to be working for. Without all of the
information about portfolios, contracting agencies, professional
associations, and good writing in general that I have gleaned from this list
I am sure I would not have had the courage or the ability to leave an
unpleasant work environment where I was not being treated like a
professional technical writer. For all of our periodic bickering about what
is on topic and off topic, we still manage to share some truly invaluable
information during the course of our on-going discussion. Thanks to all of
you I am now leaving the employ of the pointy-haired boss to go work
with real professionals. My gratitude is boundless!
