Subject:Titles for Technical Writer From:Michael Andrew Uhl <uhl -at- VISLAB -dot- EPA -dot- GOV> Date:Thu, 9 Jan 1997 17:29:02 -0800
I have been given the title "Lead Technical Writer." This
is slightly more advanced than "Senior Technical Writer."
As a Lead, I am responsible for working with very little
management supervision and that supervision does not
involve technical communication. In other words, they
expect that by now, I know what I'm doing. ;-)
The next step for me is manager. No thank you. I still
have some room in pay grade, thank goodness.
Cheers.
