The weirdest part is the charge for the unique URL. What exactly what
is
the vendor selling? A unique domain name?
The Internic (the org that doles the domain names out) charges an
annual fee of $100. The vendor is probably recouping costs and
charging for the administrative stuff they went through to get it and
will have to do to keep it. True, it's not a hard or time consuming
process, but from my experience this isn't overpriced.
Just my thoughts.
