Subject:ALT attribute for IMG tag From:Nancy Hoft <nhoft -at- WORLD-READY -dot- COM> Date:Sun, 19 Jan 1997 11:43:27 +0000
Another reason to use the ALT attribute with the IMG tag is that the
text you type is used to "read" to people with disabilities. I
learned this when I taught a course in Web design, which was
attended by a woman from Microsoft who was involved in such a
project. I thought it was a great idea.
