The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:
- developing and maintaining end user and marketing-related
documentation for TakeFive's programming environment SNiFF+
(printed as well as on-line)
- participating in projects for creating advertising materials,
brochures, packaging, newsletters and other marketing related
pieces; review technical papers.
The end user documentation set currently consists of an Installation
Guide, a Tutorial, a User's Guide, a Reference Guide and Application
Notes.
Skills
------
- Technical writing (at least 2 years)
- Written and spoken English (preferably native speaking)
- Good communication skills
- Conceptual familiarity with: OOP, C/C++ programming and
programming tools, Unix, Make
- FrameMaker, HTML
- Advanced drawing and DTP tools
- Acquaintance with "The Chicago Manual of Style" is of advantage
